Server upload flow

Your file goes to a remote server, gets processed, and you download the result. That can handle heavy jobs but retention and access policies are harder to verify.

For confidential, ID, medical, or financial documents, read the service privacy policy before uploading.

In-browser processing

Files stay in device memory and are not sent to our servers. No upload queue — less friction for everyday personal documents.

You are limited by RAM and browser performance. Very large files or page counts may be slow or fail.

Quick decision guide

Sensitive personal or internal docs, one-off quick tasks: prefer browser processing when it fits.

Huge batches, advanced editing, or OCR that depends on a server engine: evaluate upload services after checking their policies.
