Launch the tool

How to use it

  1. Add one or more photos to convert.
  2. Choose the output format: JPG, PNG or WebP.
  3. Download converted files individually or as a ZIP.

Why renaming the file is not enough

Changing a file's extension leaves the actual image data in the old format. Such files may not open, or may fail format checks on upload.

This tool decodes the image and re-encodes it into the chosen format, so the result truly matches its new extension.

Converting iPhone HEIC photos

iPhone and iPad photos are saved as HEIC (.heic, .heif) by default. Programs and web forms that lack HEIC support cannot open them. Converting HEIC to JPG makes photos usable almost everywhere.

Choosing a format

JPG suits photographs with small file sizes but no transparency. PNG supports transparency and sharp text but produces larger files. WebP supports transparency with small sizes, though some older environments cannot read it.

For logos and icons that need transparency choose PNG or WebP; for general photos choose JPG. Originals are never modified.

Scope and limits

Multiple photos convert in one run, downloaded individually or as a ZIP. Damaged or unreadable images are skipped with a notice.

Everything runs in your browser and files are never uploaded.
