Frequently asked questions

Will the teams have equal sizes?

As close as possible. Without groups of names kept together, team sizes differ by at most one person. Kept-together groups can make sizes less even.

How many teams can I make?

At least 2 teams and at most as many teams as there are names. The list can hold up to 100 different names.

How do I keep some people on the same team?

In the box for names to keep together, write one group per line and separate the names with commas. Each name can appear in only one group.

Are the names saved?

Nothing is sent to a server. When you split, the name list is saved in this browser's localStorage. A team assignment is saved only when you press Save in this browser, and you can remove everything by clearing site data.
