How to use it

What the counts mean

The counter shows characters with and without spaces, line count and UTF-8 byte size at once. Use the with-spaces value for limits like '500 characters including spaces'.

Bytes matter when systems count storage, SMS segments or form limits. Non-ASCII text such as Korean or emoji uses several bytes per character, so bytes can far exceed the character count.

What the cleaner fixes

It removes doubled spaces and stray line breaks from text copied out of web pages and documents. Keep-paragraph-breaks mode tidies inner breaks while preserving paragraph structure.

Before and after are shown side by side, and the result can be copied immediately.

Scope and limits

Each input box accepts up to 512 KB of UTF-8 text.

Word frequency counts spacing-separated tokens, not grammatical morphemes, so particles stay attached to words.
